Best Internet gives you a minimum of 25MB of disk space and 200 MB / day of throughput for your own Web and FTP Site with all Basic Web Hosting Accounts, plus an additional 20 MBytes of home directory space for mail and maintenance of your web site.
By placing a limited number of accounts on each shell machine, we guarentee smooth sailing for all our users. Machines resources (memory, disk, cpu) are balanced for the distinct user population in residence. The resources you are given are truly yours to use with clear (and generous) rules regarding acceptable use.
Excellent Connectivity
We run clear channel DS3s directly to all the major backbones (MCI, Alternet, Sprintlink). We also run a DS3 to MAE-WEST for additional local connectivity. Our regional network is also built out of T3's and our in-building networks are built out of switched full duplex 100BaseFX.
CGIs That Meet Your Needs
Best Internet customers get the flexibility they need to run CGIs on their web pages. Our Basic Web Hosting 2/25 and 2/50 accounts have a limit of 1,000 CGI CPU seconds per day for CGI executions.
Our 4/75 and account has a limit of 2,000 CGI CPU seconds per day. The following chart will help you decide how much CPU time you will need.
